What is regenerative agriculture?

You likely have noticed that our environment is a little topsy-turvy these days.

Droughts, floods, heat waves, cold spells - all of them are happening more often and more intensely.

Agriculture plays a large role in our effect on the environment.

Over 100 years of aggressive, extractive farming practices have released millions of tons of carbon into the atmosphere.

We don’t want that stuff up there.

Forward thinking farmers have , for decades, been telling people that proper farming practices can stop and even reserve these changes.

Organic was the first style - “let’s stop poisoning the ground.”

Sustainable was next - “let’s keep things as they are.”

But that’s not enough

We need to make things better!

We need to build back up our impaired biological systems.

That’s what regenerative agriculture is - the rebuilding of our shared environment via the tool of agriculture.
